All articles in JATR are published under open access to ensure unrestricted public access and reuse. To cover editorial management, peer review, production, and archiving, the journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) only after acceptance.
Important: Submission is free of cost. Authors pay the APC only once their manuscript has been accepted for publication.

JATR supports funder-based open-access mandates and accepts payments from recognized institutions such as the NIH, European Research Council, and Wellcome Trust. Authors should indicate funding bodies and grant numbers during submission to ensure proper acknowledgment.
Charges are set in USD. For international authors, equivalent local-currency conversions apply automatically at bank exchange rates. All intermediary transaction costs are borne by the payer.
All editorial decisions are independent of payment status. Editors and reviewers are blind to APC discussions. Payment processing is handled by the journal’s finance team under GDPR-compliant protocols.
